Contextually inspired approaches to art integrate designs that engage the public. The landscape, sense of community and history are the well of inspiration for transforming public spaces.
From an abandoned parking lot and shoreline transformed into a series of waterfront parks to reinventing the identity of a town center, I work closely with architects, stakeholders, and local communities to revitalize connections to place, and strengthen community identity.
Where architecture ends, my work begins, and a new relationship is born to the context of the site, the environment and landscape, to time and the integration of art into its surroundings.
